Betta Falx and GloFish

At least that's what I think I just got today...a female Betta Falx. Very different. I have never owned a wild type betta before.

And on a non-betta note. I learned something neat about GloFish . They are a genetically engineered fish that was created to help detect pollution in water. It's a modified danio. I always saw these fish and was like SO PRETTY but why so expensive ($7 for one little fish is alot for me) but now I know why. Now I think I will pay $7 for a bio-engineered fish, especially since part of the sale goes to the scientists to help them with the pollution research.
